OEM / ODM process
Our platform under your brand, or your product on our tooling — from enquiry and tooling through sampling, mass production and shipment.
OEM or ODM — what is the difference?
You choose a model that already exists on the S34 or S39 platform and we produce it under your identity. Fastest route to market, lowest development cost, and the tooling is already proven.
- Your logo on housing, grille badge and nameplate
- Your colourway and trim
- Your retail packaging and manual language
- Your accessory set and configuration
You bring a drawing, a physical sample or a clear brief and we develop an exclusive mould. The tooling stays dedicated to your product instead of being offered to other buyers, which is the difference between a unique product and one that competes on price alone.
- Exclusive mould developed from your reference
- Tool design sign-off before cutting starts
- Pre-production sample checked against your written specification
- Tooling kept dedicated to your programme
From enquiry to shipment
Send your requirement
Share a drawing, photo, physical sample or target specification. We reply with feasibility notes and the questions we need answered.
Specification & quotation
We fix the model, voltage, plug standard, packaging format and target volume, then quote an MOQ with a price break per volume tier.
Sample or tool design
For platform models we send a sample. For private moulds we agree the tool design in writing before any cutting starts.
Sampling & sign-off
A pre-production sample is checked against your written specification — airflow, finish, packaging and labelling.
Mass production
Production runs on our own lines once the sample is approved and the tool is stable.
Inspection & shipment
Completed goods are checked before packing, and the documents your market requires travel with the shipment.

MOQ, sampling and lead time
MOQ depends on whether your order uses an existing tooling platform or a new private mould, and on the packaging you need. Send the model, quantity and market and we quote an MOQ with a price break for each volume tier.
For platform models we send a sample before the order is confirmed. For private mould projects we produce a pre-production sample and check airflow, finish and packaging against your requirements. Sample cost and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.
Lead time depends on tooling scope, component availability and packing format, so we quote it with the order rather than as a standing figure. Tooling projects carry a separate schedule agreed at tool design stage.
OEM / ODM questions
With OEM you choose a model that already exists on our S34 or S39 platform and we produce it under your brand, colourway and packaging. With ODM you bring a drawing, sample or brief and we develop an exclusive mould, so the product is not offered to other buyers.
Ownership and exclusivity are agreed in writing before tooling starts. Our standard position in an ODM programme is that the tooling stays dedicated to your product rather than being offered to other buyers, and we confirm the ownership terms in the project documentation.
Timing depends on how many tools are involved and how much of the design changes from the reference product. We give a schedule at tool design stage, and most of the lost time in these projects comes from an unclear brief or an unsigned tool design rather than from the tool shop itself.
That is the sequence most buyers use. Run a branded version of an existing platform to prove the market, then invest in private tooling once you know which changes are worth paying for.

Send the drawing, sample or target specification and we will tell you which parts need new tooling and which can come from an existing platform.
